USO 2011

 

Shot over a three week period in Washington, D.C., and El Paso, Texas, the 2011 USO PSA campaign sheds light on PTSD & TBI through a series of live interviews with U.S. armed service veterans.  The stories of these Wounded Warriors were recorded in English and Spanish, in Hi-Definition.

USO 2010

Our fourth year of producing the annual USO Public Service Announcement campaign. An unprecedented campaign in terms of concept and production value. This campaign, directed by agency creative Rich Park, focuses on the needs of our Wounded Warriors. Shot on the Red Mysterium, and edited at KStreet Post in Washington, D.C..

Awarded Silver Addy, District 12.

“Scars”

“Scars” is a self-produced documentary, directed by Steve Osborn.  Part of an ongoing interview project which investigates the origins of scars, and a truly chilling document of memory and experience. In this segment Ben LaMarca tells his life-changing scar story with brutal frankness and vivid detail.

Winner of the Award of Merit for Dramatic Impact by the Shorts Fest., La Jolla, CA.

Screened at the Denver Starz Film Festival, November 2011.

USO 2008

Tortilla Production’s first PSA campaign for the USO.

Building miniature bridges and skyscrapers with my Erector Set when I was 12 finally pays off!   We’re using a modular rigging system called Speed-Rail (think load-bearing Erector Set) to get every possible camera angle on this Humvee.

BedHead 2007

Beadhead “Light Me Up” Styling Tools campaign. One of five spots produced by Tortilla Productions; co-directted by Steve Osborn and Zach Passero. Shot on 35mm film and hi-def digital video, over two days in Dallas, Texas.  A 9-camera array was developed and employed to complete a mosaic effect, with enough resolution to do zooms in post-production for a unique visual effect.
